“Man, I was thinking about earlier. I kinda thought you were just being bossy.”

Jayden:
“Yeah? I wasn’t trying to be. I just wanted us to do the project right.”

Leila:
“I realized I probably made a mistake. I blamed you for trying to help instead of just being annoyed with the whole project.”

Jayden:
“I get it. I do that too. Like when I get a bad grade, I just think, ‘The test was unfair,’ but when I do well, I’m like, ‘I’m awesome.’”

Leila:
“Yeah, it’s like we’re always thinking the best of ourselves and the worst of others.”

Jayden:
“Exactly. But at least we’re catching it now.”
