They defined leadership in terms of the direction and support that the leader provides to their subordinates. </p><p><br></p><p>Good leaders <strong>adapt</strong> their leadership style to the situation.</p><p><br></p><p>Leadership depends on two factors – <strong>leadership style</strong> and the <strong>maturity</strong> of the group or individual they are leading. <strong>There is no best leadership style. The maturity of the group/individual dictates what leadership style should be applied.</strong></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

Although different to the 4<sup>th</sup> style it’s ultimately the followers decide the best way for the task to be carried out.)</p></li><li><p><strong>Delegating.</strong> (The leader is involved in the decision making, but the follower decides when and how the leader will be involved.)</p></li></ul>]]></description>
