Based on my reading of the text, “The Story Of Kram and Ailat Parts 3 - 6 I found it interesting that once Kram took Ailat back to the Caribbean they noticed that few people and fish were in the ocean. In the text it states, “Things were very different underwater, too. Parts of the reef were still alive, but most of it was brown and dead, covered in Algae. All the brightly colored fish they had seen on their last trip were now gone.”

Based on the reading of the graphic novel “The Story of Kram and Ailiat”parts 3-6 I found confusing that people are still swimming on the ocean after the water is taken over from the algae. I find this confusing because, the ocean is not clean and it is full of slime. I am also confused that the owner of the hotel should understand what will happen to the ocean.

Based on my reading of the Graphic novel “The Story of Kram and Ailat” I found it surprising that after 6 years of not going to the beach there were no fish left. I also found it surprising that when Ailat ordered her food at the restaurant the waitress said that they didn’t have any more of that fish. I found this surprising because it became such a problem that now they aren’t even receiving any more of some fish.

I found interesting how the hotel was the main cause for the reef dying and how people didn’t know that the hotel was blocking the sun and causing mud slides. I also found interesting how the reef was full of algae because people fished for the parrot fish and the parrot fish ate the algae, why would they fish for the parrot fish, no one ate them, and they helped keep the fish alive, so what was the point of fishing for the parrot fish. I found suprising how no one listened to Kram when he was on tv about fish depletion and why no one listened, even though two experts had the same hypothesis, and that it made perfect sense, people wouldn’t listen. I found confusing how the fishermen didn’t realize something bad was happening, even though many fish species were going extinct, and even if they did, they didn’t do anything about it.

Based on my reading of the graphic novel “ The story of Kram & Ailat” What I found interesting surprising or confusing is that the first time they went snorkeling the water was clear and full of fish, but the second time they went the water there was Algae and the water was thick. I found this very surprising because when they went the first time there was no Hotel In front of the water they went snorkeling it was fine, but since the people built a hotel in front of the water and as the text states, “ Kram explained that the hotel was built too close to the shore. Causing mudslides and blocking out the sun, which choked the reef to death. This is what I found interesting.

I found this surprising because they just described the herring differently. They couldn’t just stop catching fish especially when it’s just herring? Why not sell other food to eat? This is what I found surprising about the text.

He said they might loose fish in 50 years, they saying we are going to loose fish in 50 years. What’s stupid is that, the person who sold the parrot fish knew that it helps the sea by eating algae but still sold them anyway. Plus the talk show host heard Kram but still didn’t listen. Plus, Kram reminded his cousin on the boat ride 2 times about what would happen if he fished too much. Plus the waitress said to Ailit there were no steak of that fish left. That is what I found surprising
