There are so many and it differs depending on the child and I think thats important to know. <br>Challenge: One challenge Im taking away from this class is affectively using the teaching methods in a classroom. I already have some experience with using some of those teaching skills but I want to learn more about how to best incorporate it into my classroom when i have one.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Insight: I found it amazing how the views of intellectual disabilities have changed. What really stuck out to me was how those with disabilities were originally in asylums and now there are many programs to assist them in their learning, various advocacy groups, and movements to change the use of the word "retard"<br>Challenge: I think what will be most challenging for me is my phrasing and communication to those with intellectual disabilities. From realizing if they will take something literal or not to giving them the confidence they need to be successful, it all starts with appropriate communication. </div>]]></description>
