         <title>Seneca Falls Convention</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Seneca Falls Convention was the first ever Women's Rights convention. The woman that organized this event was Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Over 300 people attended this convention to argue that women deserve the same voting rights as men. This event was held in July of 1848. This is important because this was the start of the journey to the women's suffrage.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>On January 11, 1871, Victoria Woodhull made an effort to speak to the House of Judiciary Committee in Wall Street. She argued on behalf of all  women in the United States about their right to vote under the fourteenth amendment. This was important because this made women's voices heard and it will get more publicity.</div>]]></description>
