Key Responsibilities

Transaction Processing: Scanning items, collecting payments (cash, credit, digital), issuing receipts, and giving correct change.

Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions, resolving complaints, and promoting loyalty programs.

Cash Handling: Balancing the cash drawer, verifying amounts, and reporting discrepancies.

Merchandise Handling: Bagging purchases, processing returns/exchanges, and sometimes restocking/organizing.

Checkout Area Maintenance: Keeping the station clean, tidy, and stocked.
