Pleasant woman. Completely relaxed. Very confident during the interview – but not very warm.
Some colleagues will like her a lot, but not sure about everyone. Sat calmly with legs crossed.
Always looked at the person she was speaking to. Chose her words very carefully. Spoke clearly.
Never said more than absolutely necessary. Answered questions well. Obvious she could interpret
what was being asked. But she didn’t smile very much. Never laughed (even when I made a joke).
Dressed a bit too casually for an interview. When asked about experience of other communities/
cultures, she stayed very relaxed but said that she didn’t have much – could learn? We really liked
her honesty.

Pleasant man. Made us laugh a lot. Never dominated the interview. Everyone liked him and we all
felt we wanted to listen when he spoke. Expect he’ll be popular with colleagues. He understood all
the questions and thought about them carefully. Clothes very smart. Obviously had his hair cut
for the interview! When asked about experience of other communities/cultures he started crossing
and uncrossing his legs, looked uncomfortable, maybe sweating a bit? His reply was long and
he didn’t really answer the question – talked about other things instead. When relaxed, he looked
straight at us. When uncomfortable, looked out of the window a lot.
