         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>30 minutes New Spellings<br>Objective: At the end of the lesson, the students may able to learn new syllables.<br><br></strong>- Identify the syllables with the students (from the reading text on page 18)<strong><br>Example: Journey = jour-ney<br></strong>-Ask the students to clap for each syllable. <strong><br>Example: I-like-to-eat-chick-en<br><br>40 minutes Grammar: Uncountable Nouns<br>Objective:&nbsp; Students able to understand the usage of uncountable nouns<br><br></strong>-Get the students to list down uncountable nouns.<strong><br>Example: butter, water, happiness<br></strong>-Explain to the students the difference between countable/uncountable nouns<strong><br>Countable nouns: Countable nouns are for things we can count using numbers.&nbsp; <br>Uncountable nouns: Uncountable nouns are for the things that we cannot count with numbers.&nbsp; <br></strong>-Get the students to do the exercise on page 12-15 on their own and discuss the answers with them.<br><br><strong>40 minutes Guided Writing – Familiar Setting<br>Objective: Students able to compose a story with familiar setting<br><br>- Go through the features of the story<br>Example: Paragraph 1-talks about the settings of the scene and introduction of the main character<br>- Activity: ask kids to draw a house according to the descriptions<br>Example: broken windows, roof with holes, broken front door<br>-Ask the students to come up with an happy ending story.<br>-Ask the students to complete the story checklist on page 23 (textbook)<br><br><br></strong><br></div>]]></description>
