TW model how to make 6 different 3 digit numbers use the digits 9, 4, and 3. 
TW use interactive digit card website to move the digits around to create different numbers. 
Student behaviors will include allowing them to make suggestions or even come to the screen to make a number. 
T and SW do another group of digits for a guided practice. Students will receive a bag with digit cards and will select the ards the teacher says. Students will use these manipulatives to create numbers.
TW explain the learning task that they will be completing independently. The task is called Race to the Finish Line. Students will have. Students will complete the task using 3 digits . Teacher will monitor and observe the practicing.
