TRAVEL BLOG-Selva di Val Gardena

Last summer I arrived in Selva di Val Gardena: a little and pretty hamlet of mountains.The journey was long but exciting because my brothers and I looked at the fantastic views. It was also safe because we went by car and it never rained so everything went smoothly. We did a little break to have breakfast.The weather in the mountains changed very easily in fact in the mornings it was sunny and fresh so we went for long and exciting walks. In the afternoons it was stormy and rainy so we stayed at the hotel to have a little sleep and other nice activities.

People were nice and friendly most of them were young because there were a lot of nice parks. The place was modern, very pretty, popular, fascinating and not very crowded because it was a little bit expensive.

When I was 10 years old I went to florence with my family.
We stayed in a small appartament for rent.
I visited the old palace in "Piazza della Signoria".
The journey was very excited and the weather was sunny and very hot. There were people of all ages and people who came from all over the world: chinese, japanese, english, american, moroccan etc...
The place was very historic and clean. Where we stayed there were 4 street: once led at Old bridge, once led to cathedral of San Lorenzo, once led at Dante Alighieri' s house and once led to another square that full of restaurants. This was my visit to the Old Place and my impression of this.

Last year I went to Canberra,the capital of Australia. It was the first time that I have taken the airplane:honestly I was scared and apprehensive.Fortunately I met an italian girl and I was with her for the whole long flight.When I got there it was bright and shining. Canberra is a very fascinating place.The hotel where we lodged,offered us some bicycles to cross the perimeter of the Burley Griffin lake. It was so relaxing. One day we also decided to go to the Old Bus Depot Market,where we found a lot of interesting and outlandish things to buy and to eat.The people were all kind and polite and they always helped us.
.I can't complain about anything because it was all wonderful ,fantastic and insane.

Last summer I went to Soraga, in Trentino-Alto Adige. The journey was very long because my family and I went by car and we stopped to have lunch, but it was also exciting because I could see different views like little hills or fascinating mountains. Soraga is an admirable location. Its name derives from Ladin "sora l'èga", which specifies village's location above the water. With my family I did long, hard but beautiful excursions. I saw Moena's lake, that it's very pretty and characteristic and Passo Pordoi, Passo Sella, Carezza's lake, Catinaccio, Latemar. I also visited Moena, an attractive place where there is Fiorentina's retreat in the summer. The weather was sunny and bright and the people were helpful, polite and nice.

Last month, I went on holiday with my family at Garda lake. Before getting there, we went to Verona, a very beautiful city with lots of happy and joyful people. When we got to the camping where we were going to stay, we saw that it was a cool place with a lot of different people: there were French, German, Dutch and Italian people. During the week, we went to many cities around the lake, and in all of these there was a great athmosphere because of the positive and cheerful people that you could meet there. In fact, there were so many individuals that, weirdly, made those places better. In the future, I really want to go back there.

Last year I went with my family and some friends to London.

The journey was a little bit tiring, but I was so excited and I had a lot of fun with my sister on the aeroplane, even there were some turbulences.

London, capital of England and of the United Kingdom, is a beautiful city. It was built near the River Thames, in the south part of the country. It’s a very modern city, but there are a lot of ancient places, for example, the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey, but my favourite absolutely were Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden and Kensington.

When we arrived the weather unexpectedly was sunny and warm and it was like this for all the time.

The residents were very helpful and the vacation was very enjoyable.

I reached Nosy-Be, a beautiful island of Madagascar, by plane.The journey was very long, about eleven hours, we stayed in a holiday village called “Andilana” in the north of the island for ten days.

We were lucky with the weather because it was hot and sunny, but unexpectedly it rained on evenings.

While we stayed in Nosy-Be we did a lot of excursions: we went to a natural park and we went to a typical fishermen’s village, where we met the people of the place.There were a lot of children and the people was very poor but very friendly.

Nosy-Be had a lot of fantastic beaches with unforgettable colors. Nosy-be is also famous for its barrier reef: we did snorkeling in a marvelous marine park through an underwater garden.Nosy-Be is a magnificent place to stay!

Last summer I went to Siena. I already knew that city is a fascinating city, because my friends’ family went there before us, so they suggested that we should go to Siena. So, my family and I took the car and we left for a long journey, but funny, because my brother and I sang all the songs.

When we arrived, the weather wasn’t fantastic: it was cloudy, but we could visit the historic city anyway. We saw the oval square, that was very busy. Then, we stopped in a peaceful, but very expensive bar, because it was near the center. After, we went to lively streets, where there were a lot of pretty shops and cheap restaurants with friendly people.

Last week I went to Bern, the capital of Switzerland, with my family. I took the plane and the trip was very long, and dangerous because the weather was very stormy, and fun because I met a guy named John. When I landed, I read that Bern was a beautiful city and there were many chocolate shops.
Bern is located in the North-East of Switzerland. It's an historic city and is crossed by the river Aar.
In Bern there were many interesting places to see. While I was staying in Bern I visited a big park called " The Bears's Pit" because,inside,there were many brown bears and it's the citizen symbol. I also visited the Eistein's house, the Bern's cathedral and the many chocolate shops. Although they were very expensive, chocolate was very delicious. The people were very young and polite, although some were grumpy.
Bern is a fantastic city to visit!

Last month I arrived in London. I travelled by plane with my family. It was the first time that I took the plane. I was very afraid and anxious but when the plane left I reassured myself and I enjoyed the beautiful view of the sky.

We arrived in London and we went in a comfortable hotel. The day after, in the morning, we visited the centre of London; the tourist were very happy and kind. The weather was nice, it was very sunny but not so hot. In the afternoon we visited Madame Tussaud. I really liked this museum. There were a lot of famous people made in wax and they seemed true!

We stayed there for five days. We visited the entire city. London is wonderful!

Last summer I went to a small island in Greece by the cruise ship Cefalonia, a sea place. my family and I took the cruise ship at Ancona and we through the Adriatic Sea and Ionian Sea then we arrived at this island. We took a long and boring journey to get there. Cefalonia is a beautiful and fascinating place and the beach was crowded with tourists. The sea was intense blue, transparent. On the sea floor we could see with the mask, the wonderful colored fish. To the left there were small caves with water inside. The weather was beautiful and it was really hot, and as it was summer, it was always sunny. We were there for a few days on the ship, Cefalonia is just a beautiful place to relax.

Last summer I went to Scoglitti, in Sicily. I’ve been there for a week, as a guest of my friend Claudia’s family.
I reached the city by car and then we took the ferry to cross the sea, so the journey was very long and boring, but I spent most of the time sleeping.
Fortunately the weather was fantastic. It has been hot and sunny all the time, but maybe sometimes too hot, so we were always floating in the clear sea.
Claudia’s grandparents were kind and hospitable, they treated me like a granddaughter and I really esteemed it.
I visited many beaches and each of them was amazing: the sea was crystal and if you dive in the water with a diver’s mask you can see the seabed meters away!

Two years ago I went in Holland with my family and my grandparents. We traveled by plane and the journey was very comfortable and short (only 2 hours ). When we arrived it was very cold and it was snowing. We slept in a small house in Groninga ( in the north of Holland ). We sow the center of the city and it was very small but there were a lot of shop and restaurants . We went in Holland because there was my uncle’s exposition in a great University. It snowed for 3 day and it was very cold, but we sow a person who was wearing a t-shirt. This journey was very exciting and I had fun. I love Holland!

Last summer I went to San Candido, in Trentino Alto Adige, with my family, my friends and their families. We traveled by car, the journey was very long: almost 8 hours. During this holiday we stayed in the hotel. To divide the rooms we separated between boys and girls. We left Friday morning at 6 p.m. we arrived and we visited frist the lake of Braies, it's a beautiful lake and around it there are mountains. We went to restaurant to have dinner. After dinner we returned in the hotel because everybody were tired for the long trip. On Saturday we went to Lienz in Austria with bike, we rode bike for more than 40 km. Saturday was the best day in this holiday. On Sunday we visit Cortina D'Ampezzo, it's a good city, there are a lot of shops and we toke a small train to see the landscape. We take car to return at home. They were only 3 days but they were the best of the summer. I would like to return now!!

Last week I went to Venice with my family and some friends. We travelled by car so the journey was quite long but it was funny because we were playing some games together and listening to music while we were singing it at the top of our's voices.
In Venice the sun was shining and it was hot but also blustery so when we took a ferry, to move around the city, the crossing was frightening. The people we met were friendly and kind, they helped us to find the way to go to the places we wanted to visit.
We went to Saint Marco's square, the ducal palace and to a lot of other interesting spots. What we saw was breath-taking, fascinating and charming but the places were crowded and busy too!

Last year I went on holiday with my school in Spain. We took the bus from Falconara and then the plane from Rome, the flight was good. We arrived to Malaga in the morning and we visited the city, for me Malaga was fascinating and historic. We had couch surfing in family.
We enjoyed so much with the old couple, they were two kind people. In the week we stayed in Spain we visited a lot of beautiful places, it was very interested and funny but the weather was terrible. One time was too hot and sunny and after it was raining a lot and it was cold. I remember that in the return flight there were many turbulence, it was very scary! But I was a little sad to returned home

Last summer I went to Rome, in Lazio. To get there we took the car. In Rome it was a very hot and sultry day, we stayed at my aunt’s house. In the evening we went to eat pizza in a very welcoming and crowded restaurant with some of our relatives. The next day we woke up early to go and visit the city. The city was very crowded and full of tourists almost could not walk, we visited the Colosseum and it was a beautiful experience, then we visited the Trevi Fountain, it was really beautiful and big and all around the fountain the tourists threw coins inside the fountain . The people were very friendly and busy with the huge amount of tourists that were there. Rome is a fantastic place to visit.

Last year in winter I went to Madonna di Campiglio, in Trentino Alto-Adige to skiing.
I took a big bus from Ancona with my family and other fiends.
It was a long, tired trip but in the end I had fun.
Madonna di Campiglio is a beautiful location, there were many handsome ski slopes, infact it is famous in all Italy for it.
The weather was ideal for a skiing' s day.
I had been there for five days.
We usually had lunch in a lodge while at dinner in the hotel.
The local people were very friendly and kind.
In the last day we have visited the city.
Madonna di Campiglio was a fantastic place to stay!

Last winter I went to the Christmas Markets in Trento and Bolzano. We travelled by car for 5 hours. The journey was nice, but a little boring, too. The weather was sunny but very very cold. We stayed in a very comfortable hotel. It was big and warm, but not very expensive. People were friendly and nice. It was a peaceful place in the morning, but very chaotic in the evening. We bought a lot of useful things for the Christmas Tree and to do fantastic presents for all the family. There were lots of typical Nordic foods, as bretzel and vine. There were delicious cakes, too. There was a little nice shop that r eminded me of the big Loacker’s factory. The trip was short, but very interesting.

Last Easter my mom and I went to my my grandparents classic Swedish, red cottage in Sweden. We took a train from Senigallia to Bologna and then the packed airport bus to the prominent airport where we then took a not very rough two and a half hour flight to Copenhagen. After that we rented a casual but good-looking black car and stayed the crispy night with our lovely friends in Malmo. The next day we drove a few hours north to the cramped cottage, where my aunt, uncle, some of my cousins and their loved ones also were staying, luckily they have a caravan in the fresh garden were some of them stayed during the frigid nights. We went hiking in the immense forest and we also went searching for our Easter eggs with tasty sweets inside. I had a great time!

Last summer I went to London with my mum and my cousin. When we arrived at the airport, we took the train to our hotel which was in the city centre near the British museum. The hotel was very big and modern. On the first day we visited St Paul's, Millennium Bridge, tate modern, Tower of London and the tower bridge. The most exciting was the tower bridge. The second day we visited Big Ben,The London eye, Buckingham palace and many other luxurious places. Buckingham palace was the most particular because it was very big and guarded. The guards were dressed very funny whit their big black furry hats. The flag was up and I was very happy to know that the famous queen was at home. In my opinion London is a very traditional and yet dynamic city

Last month I went to Barcelona.

I got there by plane: the travel wasn’t very long and it was funny and relaxing, too.

I stayed in the town for three days: I visited many wonderful places, like the tha Sagrada Familia or Casa Batllò. Both of them were projected by Antoni Gaudì and they were very colured and everything had an unsual shape.

The weather was very good: it was sunny and warm, but never too hot; it also was a little windy, so walking trought was very relaxing.

I enjoyed Barcelona a lot because people were kind and friendly, but I also loved the food: for the first time I tried “churros” a typical Spanish dessert. I liked churros a lot because they were very sweet and at the sme time you could feel the fried flavour.
