Give your students advance notice. Many kids will make their own plan to have or share a device if they have advance notice. Maybe make a "tech Tuesday" when students and parents know kids will be using technology.

It's Wednesday, and we can see Friday afternoon from the "hump" of the week! If you borrow three or four Chrome books, use your iPad and your HPRevolve, you can have one device per "pod" and set the groups of 5-6 up in learning communities. Also, I use my personal color Nook on these days and sometimes students have a device.
