Health experts suggest improving this issue by giving balanced, accurate information instead of fear‑based messages, avoiding worst‑case scenarios, correcting common misconceptions, and not implying that mothering is purely instinctive. They also recommend offering reassurance and praise to build mothers’ confidence, and ensuring campaigns consider both benefits and potential harms of the messages they promote.

For tobacco use the social model of health is more effective as building a healthy public policy such as increased taxes on cigarettes can deter use. For seatbelt usage, similar government policies can be applied like fines for misuse and even reorienting health services to educate people on the risks of not using them.

The article is written to showcase that health messages in regard to pregnancy can come across as fearful, and cause feelings of unnecessary anxiety and distress. The article captures that evidence-based health information encourages pregnant mothers to overthink their circumstances and prioritise perfectionism and overall condemns this method of delivering health information. The article suggests a more casual approach to delivering health information, through providing balanced information rather than worst-case scenarios, addressing common misconceptions with accurate, consistent information, and praising/congratulating for the important work that women are doing in raising a child.

The article elucidates how shock horror tactics E.g. television shows "Grabbable Gut" can exacerbate the issue rather than hit it head on. This supports the theory of way the societal beliefs and culture around obesity impact the people. The idea of health and wellbeing impact runs a lot deeper than just on the surface insults and superficial wounds. The article covers the way in which this can damage people further than the weight itself.

The health topics/issues being discussed is how people living in remote/rural communities in Australia face a greater risk of dying at a younger age compared to those living in metro areas. Life expectancy of those living in metro areas is significantly higher than those living in rural/remote areas. This is due to factors such as poorer access to the internet, health professionals and health promoting infrastructure. There is also a correlation with education and income as people living in rural/remote areas face a significant decrease in access and quality of education therefore meaning it is harder for them to earn a sustainable income to be able to access health services.
