Regarding my work, the theme is the relationship between man and nature. The name of my work is Erosion. What I hope to express is that when people continue to destroy the natural environment, people will eventually be eroded by their own greed. In terms of works, human hands represent humans who use their hands to destroy the environment, and I choose to use octopus tentacles and suckers to express erosion. Hope this can serve as a warning to people.

My idea comes from garbage recycling technology and a future wasteland game (rust). I think people’s harm to nature has begun to counteract themselves. As mentioned in the recent news, the Fukushima nuclear waste water will be discharged into the ocean. This will not only cause serious pollution to the environment and organisms, but also cause  harm to people. I believe that many people have seen the picture of a sea turtle deformed to a weird shape because of fishing net. The garbage in the ocean is increasing day by day. Due to the covid-19 epidemic, many used masks are randomly discarded into the sea, and this garbage will take hundreds years to disappear. Humans' unscrupulous destruction of the environment will eventually lead us to lose the earth. Just like the game I played, the future world is not as glamorous as we thought, it is a dilapidated wasteland world. I hope that my work can alert everyone to stop throwing trash randomly and take care for the environment. So the materials i used in my works are the trash in my life. Such as milk cartons, cans, water bottles...
