Fanny Crosby was a healthy baby until an eye infection struck her, causing her to be blind  because she was treated by a doctor which later on was not a certified one. from that day onward, Fanny was officially blind. When she was growing up, instead of complaining why is her life not like other children, Fanny learnt to adapt to the surroundings by using her five senses, which helped her to be able to play with the other children. One day, Fanny's neighbours managed to scrounge up enough money to see an eye   specialist in New York. Upon watching that scene, I was touched that the neighbours cared for Fanny instead of looking down on her. Fanny was a christian and trusted God.After watching the life of Fanny Crosby, all the school values can be learnt from her as she is an inspirational woman. In school, there are some people who are judgmental and often look down on other students as they think they are superior than them but that is not how we should think and do. We should learn to understand each other, befriend them and work together as a class. Sometimes I put myself in other peoples shoes and understand his or her situation. We should trust God in tight situations no matter what we do, during exams, going through difficult times and so on. The school values that impacted me the most was adaptable , honour God and excellence mindset, as these values are what made Fanny Crosby who she is up till the day she met the Lord in Heaven. Fanny Crosby is famous because of her perseverance and her kind heart. She knew that if she helped people with diseases or ills she might get the disease or ill but she did not care about all that and still helped. Life was not easy back then yet Fanny faced those life challenges with composure

When a non-certified surgeon operated on Fanny's eyes which led to her losing her eyesight permanently, never once did her family fret or showed resentment. It shows how forgiving one can be.

Fanny's visual impairment never once deter her from achieving great things. She picked up Braille and worked untiringly to give her best so that she received proper education. She demonstrated excellence mindset and persevered despite all odds. Her literary works are indeed commendable. She was a renowned poet that garnered media attention including the politicians. 

When the cholera plague hit New York, Fanny remained resilient and adaptable. She volunteered to help the sickly and nursed them to health.  While other shunned the sickly, Fanny embraced them with open arms. She believed that they would be able to overcome the challenge if they continue to remain positive. Even when she contracted the disease, she never gave up on them. Not wanting to alarm the others, she secretly consumed the pills that she had made. The personal and lonely battle that she faced is indeed inspiring. 

Through this ordeal, she strengthened her faith by seeking out to HIM for wisdom. She honoured God by composing hymns to praise his greatness. She was always thankful in all circumstances even when she lost her only child. The immense pain felt by a mother can never be easily envision by others. Yet, she continues to remain strong and praise HIM as she seeks inner peace. 

Despite all the setbacks she faced in her life journey, never once did she gave up. I admire her for who she is - a woman who Honours God, demonstrates Excellence Mindset, Adaptable in times of uncertainties and Thankful for all that she has.

So, let's count our blessings and be grateful with what we have. Never let setbacks in life bring you down. :-)

She went to many different  schools and none of the school excepted her but does not know how to teach her. But instead, 
kick her out. 

She has been blind since as a baby by a un-certified doctor that  affected her eye-sight that causes her to be blind .

We can learn that she uses her ears to listen to the hymns by the Church and memorize all the scripture from the different churches with our school value ''HEART' . The value Adaptable helps her  to listen attentively and memorize them.
