I'd say having seen the slides and heart what each organ sounds like. I think the heart is the slide with what looks like muscle since it's sound is loud and at a rhythm so it can pump blood. I'm guessing the lungs are the slide with the spread out little branches since you could hear how strongly it takes in aid it needs space for it in the lung tissue. Lastly I think the intestines were the ones with oval like structures all squished together since they sound like water swooshing and need to break down and absorb food.

I found the Ted Talk really interesting on how sound can be more telling of an environment than visual methods. Using sound as a tool to measure biodiversity, or population density of a certain species in an area seems like a really cool idea. I don't think it should be the only tool, but definitely should be integrated into those environmental studies somehow.

While watching the documentary, I came to understand that it's going to take a lot to help the animals within our oceans and we've done so much to destroy what they call home. One of the studies explained within the doc about reduced stress levels in whales after 9/11 was a paper I had read in my class with Laela last semester. It just shows how little care we as people have to the well being of marine life, which should not be the case. I hope more is being done to reduce sound and noise pollution within the ocean. One question I have from the Gordon et al. paper is: what is the difference between sound enrichment and sound pollution and where is that line drawn?
