         <description><![CDATA[<div>•This article reviews a study that focused on the impact of children with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities using a gait trainer. Gait trainers are walkers that assist children in standing upright, staying balanced, and walking. The researchers found that gait trainers used in the home and at school, overall, have a positive effect. Gait trainers allow children to participate as much as their other peers; which can lead to a better education. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>•Gait trainers can be utilized at home.</div><div>•Gait trainers allow children who have a physical disability to explore and get around their home like other children their age do.</div><div>•The article mentions that gait trainers in the home can be beneficial, especially during early intervention. </div><div>•The video to the right shows a toddler ,Kaitlyn, using her new gait trainer. Kaitlyn is able to walk around and experience things like a child without a disability would. In the video, Kaitlyn is able to feel the vent on the wall, something she wouldn’t experience without the gait trainer. She is also able to turn around and follow her mom; which is another she may not have been able to do if it weren’t for the gait trainer. </div>]]></description>
