It was in the 1600's that a man named Santorio Santorio invented the thermomoter.
2) The temperature of a object or person has to do with the energy of the particles in it. the faster the particles move, the warmer they are.
3) Early thermomoters were made from a glass tube and a special liquid with mercury in it.
