The story is a first person look on Axel Wolff´s view of the war. He is put into a camp with other soldiers. Wolff is put into a squad of four other members. Wolff immediately befriends a young man named ¨Tim¨. He learns why they are fighting against a newly formed country, he also tries to find himself during this conflict. Things in the camp are slow and they are just drowned with boredom.
