Then Arnold also says in his speech  "When I was a boy, the Soviets occupied part of Austria. I saw their tanks in the streets...I remember the fear we had when we had to cross into the Soviet sector." 
2. In addition, both candidates support their party Representative running for presidency. Obama says  

"In this election, we offer that choice. Our Party has chosen a man to lead us who embodies the best this country has 

to offer. And that man is John Kerry." An Arnold also talks about George W. Bush "We are one America -- We are one America and President Bush is defending it with all his heart and soul."
3. They both also refer to the American Dream. Obama says  

"They imagined -- They imagined me going to the best schools in the land, even though they weren’t rich, 

because in a generous America you don’t have to be rich to achieve your potential." Arnold then says "You know, someone once wrote: There are those who say that freedom is nothing but a dream. They are right. It's the American dream. "

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In Schwarzenegger's speech he stated in page 13 " When I was a boy, the Soviets occupied part of Austria. I saw their tanks in the streets. I saw communism with my own eyes. I remember the fear we had when we had to cross into the Soviet sector."

2) In Obama's and Schwarzenegger's speech, they are repetitive with their ideas' and beliefs. On page 21 of Obama's speech he constantly repeats the ideals' of John Kerry , " 

John Kerry believes in an America where all Americans can afford the same health coverage our politicians in Washington have for themselves." 

 

3) In their speeches, both politicians emphasize how they want to make a better future for america. In Obama's speech he mentions it

you are a Republican.

Evidence: Obama " there Is no Black America and White America and Latino America And Asian America -- There's the United states of America "
Arnold's "  maybe, just maybe, you don't agree 

with this Party on every single issue. I say to you tonight that I believe that's not only okay, but that's what's great about this country. Here -- Here we can respectfully disagree and still be patriotic, still be American, and still be good Republicans. "

 "scrawny boy from Austria could grow up to become Governor of the State of California" - (Arnold) and "My father was a foreign student, born and raised in a small village in Kenya. He grew up herding goats, went to school in a tin-roof shack. His father -- my grandfather -- was a cook, a domestic servant to the British."- (Obama)-(Page 13 and 19).

1. One difference about Obama and Arnold is that Obama talked about John Kerry and Arnold allude to George W. Bush.
2. Obama start acknowledging everyone and Arnold started off introducing his himself and his Movie.

2) Obama's speech was mainly focused on asserting the strength of the country and the resilience it beholds. "Tonight, we gather to affirm the greatness of our Nation -- not because of the height of our skyscrapers, or the power 

of our military, or the size of our economy. Our pride is based on a very simple premise, summed up in a declaration  made over two hundred years ago: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. "

3) Arnold Schwarzenegger was advocating George Bush in the republican party, while Barack Obama was advocating John Kerry. "... John Kerry will be sworn in as President". "And under President Bush".
