         <description><![CDATA[<div>For our lab, we stirred the mixture in the beaker and saw that all of the solids that remained and large objects settled at the bottom of the jar which made them easier to remove.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>At the plant, a vortex is created inside of the chamber in order to get all of solids that remain in the water to settle at the bottom and can filter through the rest of the water. This is done so that no damage is done to the pumps or pipes in the future stages.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>At this point in the process, the water is pumped into a tank where the water settles and begins to separates, the oils float to the top and all the remaining fine solids sink to the bottom of the tank and are removed. The stuff scraped off the top is known as primary sludge, it is used for fertilizer or used to make compost.</div>]]></description>
