I had a huge cart full of food and two squirmy little kids with me, and I almost cried when I realized I'd have to come back. There was an older gentleman in line behind me, and he reached over and swiped his card before I could even protest, taking care of the whole thing. His only comment to me was "pay it forward sometime". I'll never forget that.

I found a small hand-crafted blacksmith axe that I really liked, but we couldn't afford. Another fair-goer heard the conversation with me and my boyfriend and offered to pay for half so that I could get it.
