The people
When I arrived in Dominican Republic I was surprised. I didn't understand what people said, at first. They speak Spanish quickly with a strange accent and use some English words. Soon I found out that they are friendly people. Once, on the bus a woman next to me talked me about her mother, and I didn´t know her at all !
Driving
Dominican drivers are usually men. They have very old American cars and drive quite dangerously. In many streets the traffic is crazy. I very often saw they jumped red traffic lights and signs easily.

Many other things are great. I´d like to go back.

The weather
When I visited the UK it was August. I was surprised by the weather. In Canterbury we only had twenty degrees maximum during the day and from five to ten over the night. It rained lightly but often. We saw little sun. We needed a comforter to sleep, because at night it was cold.
The driving

The drivers, in general, were very polite. They used the signals correctly in the turns, they respected the traffic signals and did not exceed the speed limits. They were calm and respectful drivers. Although we had to drive on the left side, and the secondary roads were in poor condition, it was a pleasure to travel in the south-east of the UK by car.

The're also very calm when they do something. And they never forget to take a nap.
The weather
The weather is good all year but in summer it's very hot. I remember that every time we sat down in a bar as soon as we arrived we were served a glass of water each without asking for it. That surprised me a lot because it is something that is not done here, in Spain.
The food:
The food was delicious, and they had many typical things like salsiki, a sauce made with cucumber and yogurt.
In general I liked Greece a lot and I would like to go back one day.

You find people with clothes of all kinds.
The driving
People drive very dangerously and fast, they drive on the left, that’s really incredible for foreigners accustomed to driving on the right.
