         <description><![CDATA[<div>After Buddhism gained a massive amount of popularity so did the monks, the royal court did not like the power of the monks so they decided to try to limit their power. "Nearly 50,000 monasteries and chapels were destroyed, 150,000 slaves seized and 250,000 monks and nuns forced back into civilian life." In 845 the court stopped, and their orders were abolished.</div>]]></description>
