However, the first experience was overall a positive one for both myself and the learners.

I found reacting to such comments difficult as I did not know what exactly to say.
In particular, one girl blamed every mistake, related to the keyboard or not, on her dyslexia. I found this extremely disheartening as I also have dyslexia and often opt. out of tasks and activities without evening trying. When the learners become annoyed, I am often left feeling awkward as I am unsure whether to continue teaching or continue the lesson another day.
However, it is important of me to recall how I felt when learning how to play as regularly I would feel extremely frustrated and angry when continuing to make mistakes.
It is important that when in these situations I take this into account and do not judge any learner.
