Light colors are also recommended. Have your baby wear a hat with a brim so that it could shield their eyes from the sun. If your baby is younger the six months, try and dress him/her in long sleeves and long pants to protect the delicate skin from the sun.
For Cold Weather, start dressing your baby in the same layer of clothing as you normally wear, then bring along an extra sweater and blanket in case your baby might get cold. Try and not over bundle the baby. When the weather is really freezing, resist the urge to dress the baby in a super warm garment and stick to layers so that it would be easier to add or remove articles of clothing. When clothing is made of organic cotton:

• No pesticides, fertilizers or other chemicals are used when growing organic cotton.
• The land, and soil, benefits from crop rotation.
•  is biodegradable and has minimal impact on the environment
•  tends to be both dust mite and mold resistant. (wool)
