One of them is that during photosynthesis some glucose that plants produce is stored in the roots and fruits. This is why we can eat plants. During photosynthesis Oxygen is produced( like the oxygen me and you breathe all day long, that sounded nasty) into the atmosphere. All of our energy, development, and physical activity comes from the plants we eat. Natural gases like coal and oil were made, by the remains of dead plants and animals which we know got their energy from photosynthesis.
