It was very surprising to see how many students either had their own social media accounts or had access to various forms of social media. To start our unit we read "What's The Wold Made of" and discussed how matter is everything and that matter comes in 3 differnt states or "forms": Solids, Liquids, and Gases. As a continuation of this ,we sang the song "States of Matter" (it's very catchy so don't be surprised if you hear it at home!). 

Here is a list of activities your student will be taking part in:

*Defining: Matter, Solid, Liquid, Gas
*Move like matter (students always tend to love this!)
* Matter scavenger hunt
