1st Amendment: Freedom of speech, religion, assembly, press & petition

• This amendment is extremely important because without any of these freedoms, this country would be in pretty bad shape. There would be limits on religion, free press (which is VERY important & necessary, especially with the current political climate).

13th Amendment:  Abolishes slavery

• Quite self explanatory. This amendment is important because it paved the way for civil rights for the African American community, especially because racism/slavery are extremely terrible & dangerous ideologies to have.

One proposal was to "leave it alone", which 57% of Americans believe in. They think the Constitution is just fine the way it is, & that it should not be changed in any way. 

However, 43% of Americans don't think that the Constitution is has not made enough restrictions, & needs further additions.
