As previously communicated, SmartSense (TempAlert) access has transitioned to single sign-on (SSO) to improve security and streamline the login experience for all users. This change eliminates the need for generic store and district logins and ensures personalized access to temperature monitoring dashboards. 

• The shared logins will retire on October 15 

• While in store, using a CVS terminal to access SmartSense via StoreOS is the most direct way to reach that store’s dashboard; myReports remains available as an alternative option for reaching the store’s dashboard 

• If logging in outside of the store or on a personal device, use the “Use my company’s login” option on the SmartSense landing page and follow the SmartSense Site Navigation Job Aid to reach a specific store or district’s dashboard 

The Beat:  

We’re improving pharmacy electronic transfers with new functionalities and workflow improvements based on your feedback. Several pain points will be removed, new enhancements added, and transfer-related phone calls reduced.  

What’s new: Check out the new Job Aid to learn more about prescription transfers processed electronically or via fax. 

• Electronic transfers: send and receive transfers and requests electronically or via fax, see prescription transfer details (i.e. fill history) auto-populated and more accessible

  • To request a transfer from a competitor: Initiate the electronic/fax workflow via “TI” from a patient profile or main menu; select “No” when prompted if hardcopy is present

  • Choose the pharmacy and medications being requested for the transfer

  • System will send the request to the competitor pharmacy upon completion

• Approval process: Pharmacists review and approve / deny transfers and requests, can see side-by-side comparison of drug requested / prescription sent by competitor, and pharmacist can select prescription from patient profile to match to transfer out request

Co-admin is strong, we are leading the region in co-admin %! Great job driving that with our patients.

Our district currently sits in the middle of the region but we are on pace to hit again this week and YTD are in the top ten districts in the DIVISION!

We’re excited to continue rolling out new capabilities in-store as we build Rx/iO, a new pharmacy management system to eventually replace RxConnect.  

• This next release transforms four screens in RxConnect to one single landing page 

• Stores in your divisions will begin receiving modernized Drug Information (F3) screens beginning on or after Tuesday, November 4, pending IT delays; this link will be updated regularly with any changes to launch dates 

What to expect: Enhanced and streamlined access to drug information in a single landing page (F3) including multiple drug images, store and nearby inventory at the NDC or product level, and cash price tool. Coming Soon! Smart Search technology to help find the intended product faster, and intuitive drug selection at the product level that will get smarter over time. 

Up next: Stores will receive a corresponding communication with their launch date and link to the LearningHub drug course when available. Ahead of October 29, ensure all pharmacy colleagues review the updated playbook, including any District Support Pharmacists that may be working in these stores.

This has been the policy but we have been able to supplement where needed but we cannot anymore due to Union regulations.

The expectation is that these employees only work in the correct stores. Not doing so puts that employee (or a PM aware of them working at their location incorrectly) at risk of accountability up to a level III, even for first offenses after notification.

What I would like to see on self reviews:

• First a note on how you felt you impacted store results on metrics

• Second the note on how you met Heart at Work behaviors over the year

• Overall- recap the others BUT include a note on an opportunity you recognize for yourself as a leader or for your store that you want to address over the year.

  This allows us to set an intention and discuss progress over the year in 2026!

Because we have been able to perform our Market is considered a level 3 market and our technicians and RPHs are eligible for higher max rates.

This will be reflected on our next round of compensation planning (January for RPHs).

There may be some automatic changes for technicians coming, will be notified soon if anyone qualifies.
