Our student body is far from perfect, but there's something that could make everyone a little bit better... what's that you ask? EATING HEALTHY. We won't have these high metabolisms forever, instead of putting actual garbage into them we should be choosing healthier snacking options.

To start, we need to identify what we are putting into our bodies. When it's X or Y band, you can find about 1/3 of our student body huddled around waiting for the school store. Are they buying apples? No! They're buying Flamin' Hot Cheetos and Arizona Sweet Tea. What's even in those? Well, I'm about to tell you!

To begin our analyzation, you must be wondering how can we find the lipids or fats, and carbohydrates? Good question. By looking at the Nutrition Facts, we can see the following: Total fat, saturated fat, and transfat. In total there are 12 1/2 grams of fat. Next, we should take in consideration carbohydrates. Well, carbohydrates were previously described in my earlier post. So to find them we need to look the sugar amount which is 0. Which is low but still the food is extremely unhealthy.

Sweet tea is right! As we learned from the previous page where I explained carbohydrates, we know they're essentially sugar. Arizona SWEET tea has 23 grams of sugar in it, talk about sweet. These with Flamin' Hot Cheetos, and you're on your way to Diabetes. Eating healthy is the best way to gain control of your body, and the best way to do so is to read what you're putting into your body.

For one triglyceride you'll find one molecule of glycerol and three fatty acids. Yes, 20-35% of daily calories should be from these fats, but not all of them.
