Junior High School

For my JHS years, I studied at Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School (DRANHS). I was in their STE program. Being in this school, I was exposed to a whole lot different world. Met friends that I still bond with up to this day. And opened me to opportunities that I never thought I'd be in.

Senior High School

For SHS, I chose Ateneo de Davao University. Being in the STE program in my Junior High School, it influenced me to choose the STEM Pre-Computer Studies strand.

At first, I really had no interest in joining Journalism. I hate the idea of writing articles because I find it tiring and I'm not good at it. However, with the encouragement of my great Grade 10 Filipino teacher, he made me realize that I am so capable of being a journalist. Although not in writing news articles, but in Photojournalism. I am really into photography way before. And with that encouragement, he opened an opportunity for me which I have never imagined I'd be in. I was competing as a layout designer and photojournalist under our school's name for the Collaborative Desktop Publishing (Filipino) in Division Schools Press Conference 2023. We placed 3rd place for that. To take note, being a newbie and having only 3 days to train is a big deal.

For SHS, I decided to join Ang Tulay club to continue and nurture my skills as a Photojournalist. Also, I am competing once again in DSPC 2024.

To be honest, I am into local productions. I prefer watching Filipino contents especially if it is from ABS-CBN. Actually, I was considering that if ever I'd become a MassCom or MultiMedia Arts graduate, I want to work in ABS-CBN.

I like this media because I am thirsty for entertainment and information. I find it comforting and it really helps me to cope up with stress. I am drawn or addicted to media but this is healthy for me because it helps me function, feeds me with information, and really helps me mentally. It influences how I think and influences my mood.
