Final Illustration

• The application of the style is successful. The proportions of the whole figure, through to the legs and shoes, are well executed. The overall pose is also well expressed - the flow of the pose, balance, and hand poses.

• However, the form and structure, as seen through the breakdown process, does not describe the form of the body structure under the clothes correctly. With that, the overlap of fabric on the left shoulder is not successful as interpreted in the finals. The pockets on the jacket, can wrap around the body better. Unfortunately, this bit displays a lack of understanding in the overall body form beneath the clothes.

• The background is creatively designed, and I can relate to the style analysis of having effects wrapping around the figure. I wish we could see the bubbles of seaweed/tentacles-liked forms interacting with the figure.

• Rendering treatment is well executed, especially on the hair and fabric.

You consulted well for ICA2 and I know that the later weeks which were crucial, you were unwell. Successful completion despite missing those final weeks. Just know that there is always room for improvement and I appreciate the diligence you put into this ICA.
