Not only can an Al program run constantly, but it also runs consistently. It will do the same tasks, to the same standard, forever. For repetitive tasks this makes them a far better employee than a human. It leads to fewer errors, less downtime and a higher level of safety. </p>]]></description>

Negating such an advancement would halt our success. Factors like the enormous gain to the economy, workplace efficiency, and ability to reduce global greenhouse emissions prove that AI can solve the issues that world hasn't been able to solve so far.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Claim: AI has displayed its use in many fields where humans have been stumped. Climate change has been a transformative threat that grows every year, and humanity has yet to come up with an effective and permanent solution. Areas in the environment where humanity has control and has tried to help with has emerged fruitless. AI's ability to analyze data, optimize resources, create new technologies, and automate environmental protection efforts, position it as an important aid. </p><p><br></p><p>Lead-in: </p><p><br></p><p>Evidence: "Artificial intelligence was used to process the images and identify sites where pigs were likely to prey on sea turtle nests. A process that would have taken two month for rangers in vehicles or on foot was completed in two hours."</p><p>"2030, Al could reduce global greenhouse gas emissions by up to 4%. [A separate 2022 BCG report found that 87% of CEO's and manager believed that AI would be useful in the fight against climate change]"</p><p><br></p><p>Analysis: Although, 4% might seem minuscule but that equates to 2 billion metric tons of greenhouse gasses prevented, a historic feat if achieved. This stems from AI's ability to calculate and optimize resources. From using arable land more efficiently, adjusting solar and wind systems, to improving transportation, AI has a lot to offer. However, this figure only includes emissions saved from AI's ability to optimize and pro-long resources for the best efficiency, AI still has more up its sleeve. The real change to the environment can come from AI's ability to create new concepts. AI is already being used in fields to improve solid state batteries and fusion. The report, <strong>Artificial intelligence helped scientists create a new type of battery,&nbsp;from Science News</strong> stated that with the help of AI, scientists were able to test methods and materials much faster than if done by hand. AI also pointed out that the properties of certain materials like lithium can be manipulated to create a faster electron charge, which is energy flow of the battery. This proves as a major aid, as the main drawback on renewable energy was that it couldn't be properly stored. Moreover, AI has also shown its capability to stabilize fusion reactions at the CERN collider in Switzerland, which has given us a glimpse of a sustainable future. </p><p>AI doesn't only exhibit potential for climate change but can also save endangered species. Once we identify a problem facing a certain group, AI can help us with trying to relocate or save that species, as already discussed in the evidence.</p><p><br></p><p>Reasoning: From helping us combat climate change to fixing our error in destroying the environment, AI proves it can be a powerful tool. The are problems that the world hasn't been able to compete against, but with AI we have seen results. </p>]]></description>

         <title>Workplace Efficiency and Redundant Jobs</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Claim: AI is not meant to take over human jobs, which seems to be the main fear for most people. It is simple designed to get rid of the repetitive and dangerous task that will allow humans to pursue their goals. Humans are the best at creation and innovation which is what AI frees us to do.</p><p><br/></p><p>Evidence: "Some uses of AI are unlikely to impact human jobs... The important point to keep in mind is that AI in its current iteration is aiming to replace dangerous and repetitive work. From an investment perspective, - financial analysts come up with an investment thesis and strategy, and then have our Al take care of the implementation of that strategy."</p><p><br/></p><p>Evidence: AI was never meant to replace our jobs with better workers but was created to automate the empty tasks, like working in an assembly line or inputing information. Human errors are frequent in this kind of work because we blossom in more challenging and creative environments. This kind of busy work is better left up to AI which will excel because it's run off logic, can do it much much more efficiently, and can do faster with more consistency. As long as the AI is charging then it can do thesis kind of repetitive tasks indefinitely. Even for those who still fear about their job, AI should be viewed as an aid. It automates tasks, runs programs more efficiently, and can constantly do it with fatigue. This help reduces the burnout and fatigue that comes with working at a job. Additionally, dangerous jobs like construction, factories, and mining can be run more efficiently safe with the help of AI managing systems. Another reason why AI can't replace our job stems from it being purely logical, it can't read between the lines, be creative and come up with some new world-changing solution, or act in its own accordance as its decision making comes from our past decisions. This limit AI to depend on us, which is the best medium. In the example provided in the evidence, financial analysts couldn't just say generate return to the AI, they had to come up with a plan and tell AI to maximize the potential. AI does amazing at analyzing and making things more efficient, but the innovation is better left up to us. </p><p><br/></p><p>Reasoning: Many view AI as an evil robot that is bent on taking over humanity, but that is just simply not true. Its decision are based off the past, which includes only us, and therefore won't act in its own interest. It should be viewed as an aid to make things run smoother, while we can do the more fulfilling jobs. AI is meant to make our lives easier by doing the busy work while we focus on innovation for the future.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Claim: AI has the potential to drive economic growth by creating competition and motivate consumer spending. It can optimizing industries, increase productivity, reduce costs, predict future economic crisis, and foster new industries. It's foolish to not acknowledge the amount of wealth AI can achieve us. </p><p><br></p><p>Lead-in: AI can automate numerous tasks, such as, analyzing data, managing inventory and other systems, and identification. With these repetitive and impractical chores taken care of, it emancipates humans to do more creative and innovative work. This allows for companies to create more diverse, faster, and applicable solutions that could drive the economy. As well, AI is much better at identifying trends and removing biases. This could be applied to predicting trends of stocks, the real-estate market, inflation, and possible economic crashes.</p><p><br></p><p>Evidence: "According to McKinsey Global, AI could generate a global economic output of $13 trillion by 2030. This demonstrates AI's ability to drive large-scale financial growth by optimizing industries, reducing operational costs, and creating new markets."</p><p><br></p><p>Analysis: AI's economic impact stems from its ability to enhance efficiency and identification. By automating routine processes, businesses, reduce labor costs and increase productivity, leading to greater economic reach. This allows for humans to create more diversified and innovative products, which intensifies competition, the core principle for a growing economy. More efficient process and AI-powered recommendations drive consumers to spending money, which is how an economy can grow and support itself. An example of when competition and consumer spending were scare was during the Great Depression. A combination of a decline in consumer spending and weak regulations led to the stock market crashing and monopolies cornering the market. This control stifled innovation that led to less people spending. Our economy lacks competition and therefore also lacks innovative solutions. Many of us have already gotten bored of the same retired and re-used products, like iPhones. Without competition innovation won't happen and consumers won't spend. This goes on while inflation is at a high, people are scared to store their money in banks, and housing prices skyrocket. AI can identify these trends and locate problems by optimizing construction costs, identify how the building should be built, predicting demand and reduce waste for inflation, forecast tends, improve security at banks, and create better saving plans/incentive for people to trust banks.  AI encourages these factors, which is why the global economic output is projected so high.  </p><p><br></p><p>Reasoning: Much of our modern day issues have a sole factor with the economy. With inflation and housing prices at an all time high, it might be time for us to consider AI to help us in a battle that we have no experience in. By driving competition, consumer spending, and negating the limits that humans have, AI has the potential of a gold mine for us. </p>]]></description>
