I have decided that I believe assignments on computers for math classes are effective. Technology is important in the world, and students should definitely learn how to use computers and how to complete different tasks, even math-related ones, on computers. I believe that some students would perform better doing math on paper, while others would perform better doing math on the computer. It is really up to each student and their own unique learning styles. Personally, I would rather do math on paper, but I know some people like computers more than pencil and paper. Overall, I think that it is a good idea to incorporate assignments on both paper and computers into teaching math. Teachers should introduce technology when teaching math, but they should not overwhelm students with technology. By using a mixture of assignments on paper and technology, I believe students will be more successful, as both types of learning are accommodated for.

I believe that on paper assignments vs using technology depends on the student. I think that the use of technology can be very useful in a lot of classes, but for math I feel like students might preform better using paper. When a student uses paper and pencil for math they are able to mark out mistakes and might be more likely to show their work. Speaking from experience, I am so much more efficient when I am working on paper vs working on a computer. Sometimes when I have a lot of online assignments, it's easier for me to let them build up. When I have tangible assignments I can know that everything is in front of me, and what needs to be done.
