The mass wasting I believe is involved here is a creep, as the process going on here is extremely slow. However with time, the hillside will continue to erode the ground and the slope will grow closer to the fence line, eventually uprooting the fence. Due to years of exposure to the elements, the dish has rusted. Rusting is the process when iron reacts with oxygen and water in the air, forming iron oxide. This is classified as chemical weathering because the chemical composition of the object in question has changed. This example is considered mechanical weathering because the chemical nature of the cement has remained the same throughout this process.
