My friend Sathvik had recently won a game with the little kids (Our little brothers) and said he is the best teammate when it comes to being on their side. I decided to step in and be on the same team as the little kids in hopes of me being the best player with them. As the game went by, we were not winning. Sathvik and my other friend Varun were smashing us in the game, getting loads of runs! I thought we were gonna loose, and I lost my confidence. Went the sun started to set as we were going to resume the game tomorrow, I went inside and started to burst out complaining about the effort that the little kids on my team were showing. I knew they weren't showing any effort, but I was wrong. I had to be a better sport. If I would've stood resilient and much more confident, we could've possibly played well, but because I slacked off too much, thinking if we were going to win or not, I couldn't think of a plan.

So you see, if I could've been a better sport and been polite and optimistic to my teammates, we could've possibly done well that day. Teams were split up and it was time to play! On my team, I had a couple little kids and a couple big kids. I was excited to get this game underway. While we were in the middle of play, a friend of mine decided it was cool to make fun of the opposing team. 
"Ay, looks like you kids can't juke me!" he said with a stupid grin, "Look at how you guys play, ha, are you gonna get me? I don't think so!" I didn't care to bother at his dumb comments and jokes. Me and my team wanted to play a game. My friend kept making fun of us. It started to get annoying, but I didn't care. We wanted to focus on winning. While his rude remarks kept bursting out of his mouth, our team started to play well!
"TOUCHDOWN!" we hollered. My friend looked absolutely bewildered, the team he was making fun of eventually won the game!

So you see, making fun of people like this is not acceptable. It's very rude and hurtful, but ignoring it is what led us to getting the win, and this behavior he was showing, definitely came back to get him. You should always be a good sport.
