I am looking to create a "full" and emotion provoking sound using the key of G minor.

What I think went well was that the rhythm section which consisted of me, Oliver and Ben, did a fairly good job in keeping the band in time.

What could've went better?

Rehearsals definitely needed work, they were somewhat organised however it felt like most of the time wasn't being used properly, we did practice individual moments of struggle in each song very well, which would've helped a lot for when it came time to perform.

What should be done next time, have more confidence in ideas in terms of the performance, be more talkative about my own ideas.

Key of E Minor.

"Dark" sound.

The plan is to make it in the key of E Minor.

While slowly building tension through the sounds used.

We were tasked with creating an appropriate soundtrack using Logic pro.

This is to go along with the short film "The Black Hole", a short film which depicts greed and how detrimental to ones character it can be.

I thought it was fitting to create a soundtrack which sounds eerie and disturbing, a gradual crescendo until a climactic (or not so climactic) finish.

I went with the key of E minor, given my love for the e minor chord and how powerful of a sound it gives, I decided to use this to build suspense for eventually what seems to be a big finish.

here are the slides I worked on.

• Make sure to follow the same amp setup as in the soundcheck.

• Have more confidence, don't look down so much.

• Make sure to enjoy the moment and not stress so much.

Looking back at the performance itself i realise i shouldve given myself more time to practice because to be honest i still wasnt 100% confident with where i was at with the song. However overall i feel as though my guitar playing has improved since the beginning of this course and the solo performance proves that.

If i were to do that again i would fully prepare myself and make sure my playing was as close to flawless as possible and also push myself even further than this time, as this was a valuable learning experience.
