It included music by composers who had the most following in other words who were the most influential. Classical music is composed with different kinds of instruments. Its beautiful music that can be very complex. While listening to the area Classical radio station I heard that the station plays classical music. Is plays different composers such as Mozart, Rameau, Beethoven and many more. A lot of theses composers were around the time that helped with the creation of the Western Art Music canon. I honestly loved listening to this station, I felt so at peace. I am going to start listening to it from now on, especially when I study. A lot of the music that is played on this station has a consonance harmony. An example that I found for the Western Art Music Canon would be the Murchison Performing Arts Center. This building is filled with so much history. As well as classical music gets played there. Inside the building, on the stage there is a grand piano which is an instrument that is used in classical music. I didn’t see a program posted for an upcoming concert with canonic composers but I know that I check online and find many different concerts that are here at UNT which are of the canonic genre.
