if teen shows suicidal tendencies, During the session: try to calm them down, ask if already got suicidal ideation, if they have any concrete plans in place?, who is their current lifeline, ask them questions like “if you leave who do you think will miss you”, “any things that are currently keeping you motivated or do you have anything you are looking forward to right now?”
Have frequent follow up by asking them if they still have that kind of thoughts. Ask open ended questions to elicit answers. This should be highlighted to CM.
