Experience 1: I recently bought myself a new, touchscreen laptop. This is my first time ever using a touchscreen laptop. Instead of reading the directions on how to use the computer and how to utilize all of it's functions, I just went right in and started to experiment with it myself. Sort of a trial and error thing. I learn my best by just doing it, rather than reading from a manual.

Experience #2: My one year old son received several different toys for Christmas that needed to be assembled. Most of the toys only had a few pieces that needed to be put together and instead of reading the instructions that were provided, I examined all of the pieces and put them together based on what the end product looked like. If a piece didn't fit, I would try another piece to see if it would work.

Experience 1: Reflection is a must for me whenever I am learning a new skill. I must always go back and reflect on what I have learned in order to ensure that I have mastered the skill.

Experience 2: Practice makes perfect. When I first started doing lash extensions, I wasn't the greatest, but I can now say that I am better than when I first began. The more I did the extensions, the more skilled and knowledgeable I became.

Experience 1: Collaboration isn't something I prefer to do, but it is beneficial in different ways. Being forced to work in groups has taught me how to incorporate many ideas into one.

Experience 2: Collaboration has also made me realize that there is no one solution to a problem. There are many possible solutions and "my way" isn't always the best or most effective way.

Experience 1: There were many times in school where the teacher was presenting a lesson, and I thought "How on Earth will I use this in my every day life?" It wasn't until I graduated high school that I realized how important algebra is and how it applies to the real world.

Experience 2: Although I really dislike group projects, I appreciate them because I learn life skills while working with others. I have learned how to effectively communicate with others and also how to be accepting of others opinions, even if I feel differently.

Experience 1: One of my longtime goals is to graduate with my bachelor's in education. In order to achieve that goal, I know that I must complete all work assigned, participate in class, and do my very best. I want to graduate in May as planned, so everything I do moving forward is intentional.

Experience 2: When I am hungry, the goal is to satisfy my hunger. I either fix me something to or I order take out. Whichever I decide, the intent is to satisfy my hunger.
