First of all I have to say that New York is a wonderful city, where everything is beautiful. But there are some places and monuments that I prefer: for example I love World Trade Center. It's an observation deck situated on the tallest building in North America. Beside seeing a beautiful panorama, you can see a virtual time-lapse with an impressive elevator ride. I think that's an amazing experience and I hope that, when this coronavirus ends, I will go to visit it. Another place that I would like to visit is Central Park only to go on the Bow Bridge, where most of the romantic movies are set. I also like New York Transit Museum; in fact in my opinion is very interesting see a collection of subway trains from the beginning until now and understand the evolution. Finally I would like to see Statue of Liberty; it's the symbol of New York. Also there is a Statue of Liberty Museum and I think that it's really interesting and instructive to understand the history.

Brooklyn Bridge - it's a bridge from 19th century that is connecting Manhattan and Brooklyn. It is an icon of New York, as is the Statue of Liberty, it very often appears in photos showing NYC. Taking a walk on it would be very fun experience for me.
Times Square- it's located at the junction of Brodway and Seventh Avenue. It's full of flashy adverts and bilboards, also you can meet there a lot of people sharing their opinions and showing their talents. It holds biggest New Year Eve celebration party in the world. The largest New Year's Eve is held there every year.
Statue of Liberty - monument located on a Liberty Island that is first thing coming to almost everyone mind when someone mentions NYC. It was gifted by the French government to the USA to celebrate their 100th aniversary of independence.
St.Patrick's Cathedral - located in the center of Midtown district. It's the biggest neo-gothic cathedral in whole of North America and most visible symbol of the Catholic Church in the United States.

I really admire New York, even though I haven't been there ever in my life. Firstly, I would love to visit Times Square, which is known as a major tourist destination and entertainment center. It is an area od midtown Manhattan, always alive and colorful. It is also full of many tourist attractions, a must-go for a visit in this wonderful city. I would visit Metropolitan Museum of Art, which is overwhelmingly big and full of areas I would be pleasured to see. It has over 2 million of art pieces! Next on my journey is Central Park, also a really known place for this city. It's a huge park, full of various plants, trees and places to rest or have fun with your family or friends. It's an amazing location to rest and admire the New York's atmosphere. Last one I would love to bring is Rockefeller Center, a complex of skyscrapers and theatres. It shows how tall builidings can be seamlessly integrated into a horizontal tangle of the city below. It is monumental and really stole my heart.

Among the places I would like to visit in New York there are:
- the Museum of Modern Art, because I like modern and contemporary art, it also hosts paintings, sculptures, photographs.

- the Statue of Liberty because it is a symbol of New York and one of the most important and well-known monuments in the world.

- the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum which is a museum of maritime and military history (since I was a child I love the military).
- the New York Aquarium which is an American aquarium, established in 1896, in the Borough of Brooklyn, in the city of New York; I would like to visit it because I have never seen an aquarium.

How we know, in New York City everything is amazing, but there are 4 places that i'd like to visit the most.
- Empire State Building, an Art Deco skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan, designed by Shreve, Lamb and Harmon and built from 1930 to 1931. The building is 443.2 m tall.
- The Statue of Liberty, which is the symbol of New York. It's a colossal neoclassic sculture on Liberty island.
- Central Park, the most famous urban park in NYC which is between the Upper West and the Upper East side of Manhattan.
- The Brooklyn Bridge, a hybrid suspension bridge in NYC between Manhattan and Brooklyn and opened on May 24, 1883.

centrale park: the most important and famous park and I went to visit it.
New York Transit Museum: I've never seen it live but looking for it a little bit on the internet I found that it's one of the most important museums in New York.
The Brooklyn Bridge:Opened on May 24, 1883, the Brooklyn Bridge was the first fixed crossing of the East River.
Museum of Ice Cream. From unicorns, to cookie carousels, to swimming in a pool filled with rainbow sprinkles, you can expect to be inspired to play, imagine and connect with those around you here, and I LOVE IT!!

New York is a city to visit even if there are four places that I would absolutely like to see:
TIME SQUARE : Time Square is one of the landmarks of New York it is the intersection of Broadway and the Seventh Avenue in the Manhattan. I would love to see Time Square because it is crossed by Fifth Avenue, the most famous shopping street 20km of shops.
THE STATUE OF LIBERTY: The Statue of Liberty is a symbol of New York is one of the best know monuments in the world located at the entrance to the port on the Hudson River in the middle of the Manhattan bay.I would like to visit because I never seen it in my life.
CENTRAL PARK: Central Park is the largest park in the borough of Manhattan. It is the called the green heart of New York. I would like to visit this place because it is a marvel where you can take pick-nicks and walks with your family.
THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE: tThe Brooklyn Bridge, connects the island of Manhattan with the New York district. I would like to visit it because it has a beautiful view of the east river.

the 4 places i would like to visit in new york are
central park: It is one of the most popular city parks in the world, thanks also to its appearances in numerous films and TV series. It is called the green lung of New York.
30 Rockefeller Plaza: This skyscraper owes its fame primarily to the presence of television studios inside it. At 259 meters high it is one of the tallest buildings in New York.
The Brooklyn Bridge: it is the first bridge built of steel and has long been the largest suspension bridge in the world
The Statue of Liberty: inaugurated in 1886, it is a symbol of New York and the entire United States of America, one of the most important and well-known monuments in the world.

The four places I would like to visit in New York are the following:

New York is the most important city in the United States obviously after Waschington and in this city we find many things to visit. The first thing I would like to visit is the statue of liberty because it is the symbol of new york and it is the first thing you can see when entering the city. The second thing I would like to see is central park because it is the only natural part of New York and is full of animals and very beautiful streets. The third is Times Square as the center of New York where there are many shops and most of the hotels. New York is one of the most famous cities in the entire world and i would like to visit some places:
-Central Park: it’is the largest park in the Manhattan, New York. It is located in the Uptown, in the center between the Upper West Side and the Upper East Side, that take their name from their position in relation to the park. This place is called also “The green lung”, because there are a lot of plantes, trees, flowers, green grass and bushes.
-Moma Museum: it’is one of the most important museums in the world dedicated to modern and contemporary art.
It’s in the heart of Manhattan, near the Central Park.
I would like to visit it because there a lot of wonderful pictures and statues that i’ve studied at school, so it can be so interesting.
-Palace Hotel: this is one of the most luxurious hotel in the centre of New York; visit this place could be a dream, because this is the house of Serena Van Der Woodsen, the main character of my favorite tv series “Gossip Girl”.
-Grand Central Terminal Station: sometimes called Grand Central Station, is a terminal train station in Midtown Manhattan in New York. It is the largest station in the world by number of platforms.

Street performers of all kinds e chess champions converge here in great numbers, making Washington Square Park one of the liveliest centers in all of Manhattan.

One of the most characteristic streets where to find historic rock clubs is Macdougal Street with its many neon signs: those who love this genre can't never have heard of Cafe Wha!
Broadway and Off-Broadway are exceptional theatrical productions and home to the finest musicals staged.

Another of the experiences that you absolutely must have during a trip to New York is to attend a Sunday mass with Gospel choirs in the churches of Harlem.

New York is a really good city. Here some of my favorite places there: 1) Central park is the green lung of New York, 341 hectares of greenery to divide the Upper West and the Upper East side, the two richest neighborhoods of the Big Apple.
2) Columbia University is a really important university where I dream of studying.
3) The best view of New York is from the 70th floor terrace of Rockefeller Center.
4) Chelsea art galleries south of Hell's Kitchen on Manhattan's west side. Chelsea remains the reference point for international artists and designers, who exhibit here, and for all lovers of the visual arts, who come here on pilgrimage.

In New York I would like to visit some places. The first is Empire State Building, I like this skyscraper because is the New York's symbol. The second is the World Trade Center museum, not because I want to visit that place but for respect. The third is Central Park, the biggest park ever, if I will visit it I want to rent and ride a bike. The last one is the Lego Museum, one of mine passions are Legos so I will visit.

i visited new york 1 month before the pandemic i visited everything in Manhattan and my favourite places in new york are:

1the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum this is a ww2 museum.

2Time square this is my favourite place in new york i love it because when you enter in it everywhere you watch you can see lights, shops, and advertisement.

3 The National September 11 Museum in this Museum you can't do photo this museum is disturbing and scary but is beautiful.

4 the liberty statue is so difficulty to visit but this is the liberty symbol and it is fantastic.

I see that everyone mentioned the classic places that everyone needs to visit in the New York City. I would like to upload here a couple of the interesting facts about those places.

The best time to visit New York City is from April to June and September to early November when the weather is warm and pleasant but the tourist crowds are not overwhelming. The cheapest time to visit New York is on weekends from mid-January to the end of February. I highly recommend choosing sightseeing!

I hope that all of you will visit this beautiful city one day! :)

Here are some interesting facts:
1. Times Square
It draws 50 million visitors a year. That's the most of any US attraction. If 60 million people go to New York City each year, that means 10 million of them manage to come here and somehow not visit Times Square.

I have already visited New York and the places that I liked the most and in which I would like to return are:
The Moma which is an art museum of all kinds and inside we can also find the starry night of Van Gogh which is one of the most famous paintings in the world.
Another very nice place is Central Park which would be a huge park full of attraction and activities that you can do
Finally the place that I liked the most is Time Square that is a very large square covered with mega screens and many shops.

I'ts a new architecture in New York, it opened in 2019. It is 16 stories-high and you can climb them by its spiral staircase. You'll see New York from the new angle.

3-Flatiron Building:
It was built in 1936. TheFlatiron Building has a triangular form. It's called "The Iron". It's one of the most famous building in New York.

4-Chrysler Building:
It's one of the most influential building in the architecture Art Deco. When it was finished in 1930, It was the highest tall but now, it's The Empire State Building.

5-Empire State Building:
The Empire State Building completed in 1931. It is one of the 5 tallest towers in the U.S with an observation deck.

6-30 Rockfeller Plaza:
30 Rockfeller Plaza was built in 1933 and it is known for NBC headquarters. It's one of 19 building center of the Rockfeller family. This center is the most popular during the Christmas season with its Christmas tree very decorated. The Brooklyn Bridge is one of the main tourist attraction in New York. It connects Brooklyn to Manhattan above the East River. It's the largest suspension bridge in the world when it opened in 1883. It's 486 meters long an 84 meters tall. It's more than 15 000 tonnes. The works lasted 14 years. It cost more than 15 millions of dollars. 27 people died on the building site. Before, we went from New York to Manhattan by ferry. It was a railway, now it's for cars, cycles an pedestrians. Every day,
10 000 people walk on the Brooklyn Bridge. It takes 20 min to 30 min to do the crossing.
The Brooklyn Bridge is a very touristy place. If you want go visit it, we recommend it to you.

The Grand Central Terminal

Grand Central Terminal often called Grand Central Station. It's located in the midtown of Manhattan in New York. It's a fantastic Beaux-arts building that include shops and restaurants on over several levels. It opened in 1913 as a terminal for subway and train station.

Outside of the building you can admire beautiful statues. Inside you can't miss the grand staircase where you can stop to admire the ceiling that shows a celestial scene. In the middle of the main hall you can see the iconic clock from the movies , as it's a popular meeting place.

Don't miss the whispering gallery located below the main hall. A person standing in one corner can cleary hear the person from the opposite side.

It's one of the most visited tourist attraction in the world.

The statue of Liberty is 46 metres tall and it's located on the Liberty Island in New York. The statue was a gift of the friendship from the people of France to the United States of America in 1886. It represent freedom and democracy and it's an allegory which is a representation of an abstract meaning throught a woman. The statue is holding a torch in her right hand and in her left hand, a tablet with the date of the US declaration of independance,which is on 4th july 1776.

On Ellis Island, you can find museum of former immigration inspection station which operated on the island from 1892 to 1954. Over 12 million immigrants arrived through the island. There is also the Ellis Island immigrant hospital complex which you can only visit with a guided tour .

Two neighborhoods which played a crucial role in the cultural history of New York are Little Italy and Chinatown located in lower Manhattan.
Little Italy or Piccola Italia Was one a large settlement of Italian immigrants. It was a know mobster meeting place, in fact, you can even take a mafia walking tour.
The movie Godfather also takes place in Little Italy.
Today Little Italy is still home to several Italian restaurants and coffees, but the majority of the original Italian population has been relocated, and little Italy is shrinking with Chinatown on one side and upscale SoHo on the other side.
However, little Italy is now a popular tourist attraction.
Chinatown is home to the largest ethnic Chinese population in the Western Hemisphere estimated between 90,000 and 100,000.
The neighborhood is full of Chinese restaurants, shops, as well as other cultural organisations.

New-York exchange is the biggest stock exchange of the world and it's in Wall street, like NASDAQ. Wallstreet became a symbol to exchange.

Wall street was the place of the biggest banks, investment socities and the prime stock exchange. 350 years ago, Wall street was a dirty road where the dutch built fortified wall in 1653. This wall was demolished in 1699. In 18th century, Wall street put up store keeper to do exchange.

In Wall street there is the statue of the fearless girl. It was created on March 7, 2017. There is another very famous statue, Charging Bull, made in bronze. It is in the park of Bowling Green it was created in 1989.
