         <title>Conclusion : We can&#39;t usually see the water that exits a plant during transpiration. This is because the water is in the form of a gas known as water vapour. Thus the bag traps the water vapour and converts it back into water. The water therefore,appears as condensation on the inside of the bag.</title>

         <title>ResultsIf the plant cannot receive a fresh supply of air, it will not get the carbon dioxide it needs to live and eventually it dries out.If there is enough fresh air, the plastic could still either block the sunlight or could allow water vapor to build up around the leaves or on the plastic. The water evaporates and you have water droplets left. The air will become humid and warm. The water lost  by transpiration will be trapped in the bag. Water droplets can be seen on inner surface.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I observed that during transpiration experiment, the plants will lose water, even though they are in the bags. <br>Although we may not be able to see them, plants have small <strong>pores, </strong>or holes, on their leaves. I looked at the bottom of a leaf under a microscope, and was able to see these holes, which are known as <strong>stomata</strong>. This is where plants can lose water through transpiration.</div><div>Transpiration happens in part because plants need to breathe. Plants need to take in carbon dioxide, and to do this, they need to open their stomata. When this happens, water comes out.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This experiment informs us about the process TRANSPIRATION.It is the process of water moving through plants and its evaporation from leaves,stems and flowers .We know that plants need water however it uses a very small amount the rest is lost by transpiration (about 99%).Leaves have pores all over them that you can see on the bottom side of a leaf if you use a magnifying glass.These pores are called stomata. The plants open their stomata to let in carbon dioxide and water comes out in the process.It cools the plant ,it is also a critical part of the water cycle .Transpiration also adds a huge quantity of water back into the atmosphere.We use a polythene cover so that the water does not get absorbed into the atmosphere so that we can see the process and polythene does not absorb water   .If you cover a plant with a polythene bag due to transpiration you will notice water droplets on the polythene cover.I think that there are more chances of rain in areas with more trees' as the trees' exert more water than they utilize hence more moisture is released back into the atmosphere so the water then is converted into clouds which then results in rain</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Materials used: Polyethene bag, Rubber Band, a Plant (any type)<br><br></div><div>Hypotheses: Assumption that the water will form on the polyethene bag because of transpiration <br><br></div><div>Experiment: Take a plant of any type then take a polythene bag and put it on one side of the plant then tie a rubber band so that it will not let the air escape. Leave it there for 2 or 3 hours.<br><br></div><div>Observation: I observed that after putting the polythene bag and leaving for couple of hours there was some water droplets forming on the polythene bag. This is due to the higher temperature formation inside the bag. Plants sweat to, but not because they are hot. They sweat to get rid of the extra water that they have no use of. Water travels through a plant from its roots to its leaves. Any excess of water is lost through pores in the plants leaves. When people sweat it is called perspiration. When plants sweat it is called transpiration. The plant gets rid of surplus water through stomata’s.<br><br></div><div>Data: The process of releasing excess water through the pores called stomata of a plant is called transpiration. <br><br></div><div>Conclusion:  Hypotheses is correct if we cover the plant with polythene bag it will give water droplets. The sweating of the plant is to get rid of the excess water through stomata.   <br><br></div>]]></description>
