There are advantages of having a market economy. First, it helps businesses make more profit being able to control the price of their item depending on the cost of the product or service. Second, the competition leads to more innovations because of the need to have creativity to draw clients to your item vs the many others on the market. Finally, it helps insure the production of high demand items. You may have to pay a higher price but with that higher profit the companies will be able to pay for an item with higher demand.These are some of the many advantages.
(Thumbs up for the advantages of market economy) -->

To begin, we may not have more environmentally safe productions. This is because it cost more to produce in an environmentally friendly manner. In a market economy the government can not have regulations on that. Therefore, that would reduce their profit and they are not likely to choose an environmentally friendly manner. Another disadvantage is that the wealth is not spread, which is not necessarily bad however we are not controlling the amount of poor of homeless people. This system will help the rich be richer and the homeless will stay homeless. Finally, some of the conditions will be worse for workers. Business have to pay more for health and safety regulations which they may not take, considering they want more profits. These are just some of the many disadvantages.

(Their are advantages and disadvantages, these are the disadvantages, thumbs down )-->

Competition is a main factor in a market economy. Competition drives the market. The business owners have the freedom of pricing an item. The prices depend in the supply and the demand. When demand is high, owners tend to raise their prices. When supply is high owners tend to lower their prices and vice versa. As a costumer, we want to find the best price of an item. This creates a competition between sellers. They want to have the best price, trying to draw in customers. This applies to workers as well. They want to find the highest paying job
(Business owners fighting over who gets the clients)
-->

There is less inequality because the government controls who works where and how much they get payed. Another advantage is that unemployment numbers are lower. The government sets job positions and wages that try to decrease the unemployment rate. Next, in a commands economy the products and services are most based on a common good rather than a profit gain.
(Thumbs up for the positives)-->

There are also many disadvantages to a command economy. First, is lack of competition that helps keep stores open. if prices are controlled and the same around the board, there is no competition. Without competition driving customers to stores there is often closing of stores. Another disadvantage is that you cannot own private property or invest your money. Meaning you have no way to succeed as you are all equal. Finally, is the lack on freedoms. For example, your career path, you cannot choose your job, you are given a job and wage that you fulfill.

(Thumbs down for the negatives) -->

Government role in a command economy is very strong. The government controls all means of production. For example, materials, money, land, and industries. The government can use their power for good or bad. They can provide adequate services and materials or they may neglect you of them.
(This image is an analogy used about a command economy, the analogy is "The government holds the strings; the people are left hanging.") -->

I feel in this situation you lose all power.
(This image is representing how power can be too strong and allows one side to have too much power, using an image of a rock being larger and outweighing the other ) -->
