The object I decided to choose is the analog clock that is in my room. During the night, it ticks quite loud, keeping me up. It also uses batteries so instead of plugging the clock in to recharge it, I have to change the batteries every time it dies. There's no way to set timers or alarms but I like that it doesn't use any screens because almost everything uses a screen now. It gives me a nice break.
