The quote from page 34 says: “a XXXXX paints a flower it becomes a slavery flower”, this is an exact representation of the stereotype people have in their minds. These flowers “grow and blossom” on the black woman while she is leaning forward. As for me, that means that the woman carries all the stereotypes about black people behind her back and is tired of it. The bold text and white and black color choice aid in that. Emotionally, I felt much more impacted by this than any of the other images.
