* You should always be able to work with other people, employers are always looking for people who can work well wit other people and understand that not everyone thinks the same way, certain people may not be good at everything so you have to be patient with the members of your team.
* When employers are looking for future employees they look for people who demonstrate a lot of enthusiasm and have a good attitude there are many ways one might demonstrate enthusiasm, such as smiling, sitting up straight, making eye contact, and discussing training and work experiences in an up-beat manner.
* Networking means to elaborate your goals, dreams, and interests with friends, family, or coworkers. Employers look for this skill in future employees because they would much rather hire somebody that has been highly recommended by someone that personally know the person rather than hire somebody that has not.
* Employers don't want to hire someone who cannot problem solve, they want employees who are able to use data, research, facts, and their personal knowledge to solve problems in a timely manner.
* Working through problems on your own and critically and creatively thinking are aspects employers are looking for in employees.
* In order to be successful in your workplace you must demonstrate professionalism, to showcase professionalism you should conduct yourself with responsibility, integrity, accountability, and excellence.

* In order to have a strong work ethic you must take pride in your work and consider every job as an opportunity to better yourself.
* You must also have integrity, in order to have integrity you should not lie, cheat, or steal and you should never cover for those who do.
* To have a great work ethic you should have a good attitude, be positive and open to change, you must take responsibility for your feelings and focus on giving, not getting. 
* Another good thing to do is to leave your personal life at home; you should avoid making too many breaks, calls. personal emails, and etcetera. You should also volunteer to do more and try to help others often.
*To have a good work ethic you should be productive and work quickly, accurately, and efficiently. You should also strive for productivity, not activity.
*You should always treat everyone with respect and courtesy,  and view the customer as vitally important. You should see problems as opportunities to gain customer loyalty.
*People who have a good work ethic seek opportunities to learn and are open and willing to try new things. *A great way to learn what type of clothing you should wear to your job is to call the human resources office where you are interviewing and ask,  you could visit the company's office to get an application or a brochure to see what employees are wearing, or you could watch what people are wearing when they arrive or leave the workplace. 
* When dressing for a job or school interview you should dress like the other people that have that job or attend that school because the people interviewing you want to see if you will fit in with the people at the workplace or school.
* Be sure to dress appropriately for the job you are applying for, for example you shouldn't wear jeans and a t-shirt when applying to work at a law firm.
* You should always make sure that you are using proper hygiene by brushing you teeth, and you hair, and make sure that your fingernails are trimmed and clean.
* If you chooses to wear make-up be sure that you are using it sparingly and going for a more natural look.
