WHO AM I?

Hi, my name is Jeremiah A. Nator. I'm 20 years old and I live in Sta. Rita, Asturias, Cebu. I am the eldest of three children and the breadwinner of my family. I'm a student at CTU-Tuburan, studying Electrical Engineering. People call me Miah for short. Some know me as a funny and joyful friend, while others see me as quiet. However, my family knows me as a loving and protective older brother who always tries to make them happy.

"For me, I'm unsure who I am. I struggle to describe myself from my own perspective. I see myself as a 'kuya' who consistently falls short, failing to meet others' expectations. This self-doubt consumes me, but it's my reality."

In a search of knowing who am I, Jesus found me, Jesus reckless Love leaved the 99 for me (Luke 15: 4-5). Just like the prodigal son, I also thought that Im no longer to be worthy to be called as His son but His Love is so great that He gave His only begotten Son ( John 3: 16 ). I by that I know Who am I, I am the son of God

who believes in Him and His works, I am the son of a miraculous God who is so wonderful and awesome that my sins are no longer bound in me for I am redeemed, restored and choosen.

I know who I am, the son of the one True Living God.

MY BIGGEST FEAR

I often ask myself: What is my greatest fear? For me, it's not being appreciated. Giving wholeheartedly to others comes naturally, but I struggle when my efforts go unrecognized, especially by those I love.

I must admit, I've realized that I crave appreciation before I can continuously give.

Additionally, I fear failing one of my engineering subjects. Mathematics was a weak point in high school, making it challenging to catch up. Despite these struggles, I'm committed to overcoming them with determination and prayer, trusting in Jesus' guidance.

But how do I overcome my fear?

Overcoming fear begins with understanding it. Fear often stems from the unknown or from past experiences that make us anticipate negative outcomes. The first step is to face the fear, not avoid it. This can mean gradually exposing yourself to the thing that scares you, starting small and building confidence over time. Mindfulness and breathing exercises also help in calming the mind, allowing you to focus on the present rather than future worries.

Another important step is reframing your thoughts. Instead of focusing on what could go wrong, focus on what could go right or the lessons you could learn from facing the fear. Support from others whether friends, family can also make a big difference. Ultimately, overcoming fear isn’t about eradicating it completely, but learning how to manage it so it no longer holds you back from living your life fully.

WHAT KEEPS ME GOING?

What keeps me going is my family. Their unwavering support is the foundation that gives me strength, even when things get tough. In moments of doubt or struggle, knowing that they believe in me makes all the difference. They’re the ones who encourage me to push forward, remind me of my worth, and help me see things from a different perspective when I feel lost.

My family is not just a source of emotional support but also a source of inspiration. Their resilience, love, and commitment to each other show me what it means to keep going, even when life isn’t easy. They’ve taught me that setbacks don’t define you, and that persistence, love, and a positive attitude can make all the difference. Whether it’s a word of encouragement, a shoulder to lean on, or simply being there when I need them, their presence in my life is a constant reminder of why I keep going.

I also know that my actions affect them, which motivates me to strive for the best version of myself. It’s their love and belief in me that fuels my determination. Simply put, my family is my driving force—without them, I don’t know where I’d be. They are my anchor and my biggest source of motivation to keep pushing forward.
