Portfolio is an academic tool to represent the collection of evidence reference on a specific subject.

According to professor Magister Vielka Itzel Cornejo Ardines: The SDP is a "Learning Contract" between the professor and the student. As a professional the SDP is a catalog to show your customers the evidence or task.

1. According to the University of Burgos: A portfolio is a learning and assessment system that allows for collecting a set of evidence of the learning process and what has been learned. The portfolio, or learning folder, contains work and evidence of learning that students submit for assessment. The evidence can be class work documents.

2. According to Plubuu: A student portfolio is a collection of a student's work that shows their progress, development, skills, and successes over time. It can include examples of project work, completed assignments, and student-created work, even for apprentices and course students. Student portfolios can be digital or physical, but digital student portfolios are becoming increasingly popular because they are easier to use and more convenient.

3. According to Nikhil Prabha: A student portfolio is more than just grades. It's a combination of your academic work, achievements, and personal growth. Think of it as a virtual resume that gives interested parties a complete view of your skills, knowledge, and potential.

And in my opinion, a Student Digital Portfolio is an organized collection of a student's work, projects, and assignments over a period of time, presented in digital format.

Its main purpose is to showcase a student's progress, skills, and achievements in one or more subjects.
