For a start, the seasons are spring, summer, fall, and winter. And I said it in the correct order. Or did I?

Revolution and Rotation

The Earth is constantly revolving around the Sun in an orbit. Revolution is when something moves around something else and never stops. Rotation means to spin around its axis.

The equator is an imaginary line that divides the Earth into the Northern Hemisphere (NH) and Southern Hemisphere (SH). In the diagram below, the direct sunlight is on the Northern Hemisphere, it is summer there and winter in the Southern Hemisphere. The red line is the equator and the white line is the axis. If the sunlight is directly shining on the center of the Earth, it is spring or fall.
