Perhaps an analogy can be used here, like comparing the flow of energy to water and how energy changes state from one form to another, to how water can change color. Example, how light energy transforms to electric energy can compare to how yellow colored water can transform to red colored water.

Tracing the Electricity

I have been a critic of the tracing the electricity from the very first training. It is taught that, for example, the electricity flows from the battery positive to switch positive to the charge controller positive and then back to the charge controller negative to switch negative and battery negative.

That is NOT how electricity flows. If electricity flows like that in a system, then it is a short circuit. Electricity is converted from chemical energy to electric energy and flows from battery positive to switch positive to charge controller positive and then to load positive, till it is converted to light energy and heat energy in the bulb
What we have been teaching the students all this time is a short circuit, made even more confusing because after the tracing the electricity exercise, we have a quality control exercise where we teach students how to test so we can ensure that the electricity does not flow back to the battery. This must have been very confusing to the students who fully understood the exercise.
I do not understand why, despite the fact that I initially brought this to the awareness of the trainer of trainers, back in 2020, Remote Energy still insists on calling it tracing the electricity when there is a simple fix. Just call it tracing the battery circuit or understanding the battery circuit. The intention behind the exercise is to understand the circuitry diagram, so call it a circuit, not flow the electricity. Flow of electricity is something very different and if you want us to do it, we can do it, but the way you are having us do it is not only wrong, but immediately followed by the quality control exercises is confusing to the students.

It would be a good step if the student built the suitcases for deployment. It will be a proud moment for them to know that the work of their hands is being utilised somewhere as opposed to what the STEM students have been doing.

The teaching strategy are diverse, easy and well structured. The different approaches accommodates the different types of learners.

I think that for some complex concepts such as the photons and electrons, in addition to the verbal explanation, we can look for a short simplifiedYouTube video to help in improving the learners' understanding because most people tend to be visual learners.
